Description (by MrFlibble)
Bubble Puzzle is a colourful game inspired by the popular Puzzle Bobble (also known as Bust-a-Move) from Taito Corporation. A type of a tile matching puzzle, it requires the player to bring together three or more balls ("bubbles") of the same colour to clear them away from the screen.
As the time passes, the playing field shrinks downwards, bringing the balls closer to the limiting line below - if any ball crosses it it's game over. After the player accumulates a certain amount of points the level is reset to the maximum playing field. Bubble Puzzle arranges bubbles randomly every time it is played.
Bubble Puzzle was distributed as "letterware": the developers allowed to copy it freely but requested to fill out a questionnaire and send to them to provide feedback on how well it worked. Eventually, Conmeg Spielart created an enhanced Windows version of the game called Bubble Puzzle 97.
