Description (by MrFlibble)

Inferno is a sci-fi combat flight simulator telling the tale of a war between Terrans and the alien Raxxons. The main character is a Terran pilot who has been captured by the aliens and experimented upon in the "morph chamber". This fails to turn the pilot to the aliens' side and he escapes to continue serving humanity with his newfound powers. This premise is somewhat similar to the plot of the British TV show Captain Scarlet, which might not be coincidence because the game's cutscenes are made to look like footage from a marionette film.

As the war between the Terrans and the Raxxons escalates, the player must complete various missions, flying the most advanced Terran combat craft both in planetary atmospheres and in outer space.

The demo includes one sample mission taking place on the planet Hydra Verdi.
