Maps
This section displays the two biggest areas of the game. I have decided to leave out the other areas as they are pretty straightforward and rather small too. Also, certain areas contain hidden rooms and I wouldn't want to spoil things by mapping them out.

The Land of Kolyma

In the original version of KQ2, Kolyma looped around. Whenever Graham kept travelling north or south, he'd eventually end up in the very spot where he started. AGDI wanted to give Kolyma a more realistic layout and the country has changed significantly since 1985.

The reason why I haven't mapped out the entire swamp is because the place is enchanted and appears endless at first. Eventually, the player will find a way to cross it without getting lost, but until then it would be wise to avoid the place.

While the path through the woods assures safe passage, the area near the stone mound and the south-eastern part of the forest are not entirely safe. Be careful of the dwarf and the enchanter. Quickly leave the screen if they pop up in order to avoid getting robbed or killed. If you have a certain object, the enchanter will immediately retreat as soon as he sees you. Also, after a certain event, the enchanter won't appear at all anymore. The dwarf will only appear in the woods during the daytime and before you obtained all three gems. The dwarf can only steal one particular treasure from you. If you get robbed, you won't have to worry about getting robbed a second time. The dwarf might still appear, but he won't be able to get your second sapphire jewel.

It's possible to continue west and take a dip in the ocean. However, there really isn't anything out there and swimming for too long will just end up in Graham drowning. Therefore, the ocean west of the beach hasn't been completely mapped out either.

The Underwater Realm of the Sharkees

Since the trident was simply found on the beach in the original version, the underwater realm of the Sharkees is completely new. Note that it's not possible to leave this area until you have found what you were looking for. Also, this map contains minor spoilers, so don't look unless you're stuck in this small area.

Be careful while looking for the Sharkees' hideout. There are several sentries patrolling in this part of the ocean. If you run into one, get out of there as soon as you can (which may or may not be fast enough) and try to get around that particular screen. If you hang around the sentries for too long, they'll approach you and turn you into a quick meal.
