Game description
Continuum is a non-violent first-person adventure game made with Pie in the Sky Software's 3D Game Creation System (3D GCS), a toolset primarily designed for first-person shooter games. Continuum was developed by two high school students, and is rather impressive from a visual and design standpoint.
The plot revolves around a conspiracy where government agencies secretly develop and test time-bending technologies. The player progresses through a series of detailed locations which the developers encourage to explore, and engages in dialogue with the characters instead of combat. The textures, sprites, sound effects and music are all very good, although the game would certainly seem dated in 1997, but it's an excellent freeware project worth checking out.
