Game description
Dracula's Shadow is a Castlevania fangame inspired by the second game in the series, Simon's Quest. The player controls vampire hunter Sebastian Belmont, soon joined by his love interest and also vampire hunter Melissa Blacksmith. Together they need to search Transylvania and find the seven relics of Dracula to prevent the latter's resurrection.
As is typical for Castlevania type games, the progression is non-linear, and the player needs to find various items to unlock access to previously inaccessible parts of the game world. Player characters will also gain experience and better gear as they grind through hordes of enemies.
Dracula's Shadow was created using the Allegro library and comes with both a DOS and a Windows version. The DOS version is rather unstable in DOSBox, so it might be better to use the Windows version instead.
