Game description
Eagles is an experimental 3D simulator that allows to fly a combat helicopter over fully 3D terrain. It was programmed by a student at the Technical University of Budapest with the aim of producing the best way of rendering dynamic 3D scenes without hardware acceleration.
In Eagles, you can fly a helicopter around and shoot another helicopter as a target. There are no objectives and no way to win or lose, making this more of a tech demo, but still interesting to look at. It was released under the GNU GPL license, and also showcased at the Central European Seminar on Computer Graphics (CESCG) in 1997.
