Game description
Eternam is an odd beast of an adventure game. It combines classic pixel-art side-view scenes for indoor environments with early 3D first-person exploration similar to old flight sims for outdoors. Character close-ups and certain cut-scenes seem to come straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon, but the player's only trusted side character is a digitized live actor.
The story is no less colourful, taking place in an amusement park world made of several islands that represent different historical time periods, but are full of inaccuracies, anachronisms and generally comedy material of all sorts. Of course, there's the story of the main character saving the entire place from a bad guy.
There are two playable demos of this game, one is in Spanish, but includes the intro animation and music, and the other is in English and has no music or sounds whatsoever. Both give a sample of the starting island.
