Description (by MrFlibble)

Glizda means "worm" in Polish, and this is a Snake/Nibbles clone at the core, but with many new features. As you'd expect, gameplay consists of navigating the yellow snake around the screen, avoiding obstacles and growing it larger as it eats delicious fruit and other tasties that come its way.

There's a countdown time ticking, and you need to clear the screen of all edible items and reach the exit before it reaches zero. In addition to static obstacles, which in Glizda often form complex mazes, there are pushable blocks, just like in Soko-Ban, and various bonuses that grant temporary extra abilities to the player.

Author Andrew Deren made the game available as a free download along with the entire source code. It also includes a sophisticated map editor to create new levels or even level packs.
