Instruction/comment
Use the arrow keys to move the astronaut around, Ctrl to shoot and also select items in the main menu.
It is recommended to use Gravis Ultrasound emulation in DOSBox for best quality sound.

Game description
Jetpak (not to be confused with Jetpack) is an unofficial enhanced remake of the ZX Spectrum game Jetpac. The player controls an astronaut, apparently stranded on the moon, who needs to assemble a rocket, collect enough fuel for it to start, and fly home.
All the while, hostile creatures fly across the screen, threatening the astronaut's life. These can be dealt with using the astronaut's laser rifle with infinite ammo, or avoided using the jetpack (hence the game title). Once the rocket files away, a new stage starts, with faster enemies and more frantic action. Additionally, various bonuses that look like treasure (gems, gold bars) occasionally fall down and may be collected for extra score points.
Jetpak was created with DIV Games Studio and released as freeware.
