Game description
LibreQuake is an open content first-person shooter compatible with the Quake engine, with similar gameplay. The project is still in development, but has several fully playable single-player campaigns, diverse player arsenal and a host of horrifying monsters, as well as multiplayer capabilities.
The game comes as a data package that can be used with Quake source ports, and as such it can run on DOS, Windows, Linux and other platforms. The "lite" version provided by the project is aimed at low-spec machines and older ports, offering one episode of the game.
LibreQuake is free and open source, and is released under the BSD license.
