Description (by MrFlibble)
Lone Eagle is a point-and-click adventure game that is on the surface rather similar to classic Sierra or LucasArts titles like King's Quest or Monkey Island, but features a different approach to gameplay, with free-roaming and sandbox elements.
Your character is a Florida-based computer programmer and marine sports enthusiast who sets off to the Northern coast of South America to discover the fate of his friend and colleague who has gone missing in the area while on a yachting vacation, presumably captured by pirates, or worse. Your boat can freely move around the coastal waters, and as the story progresses you make contact and friends with the locals, and can go fishing, diving and even treasure-hunting to earn more money, all the while trying to figure out what happened to your friend.
The shareware version contains the first third of the full game, and otherwise imposes no limitations on game play.
