Game description

Moraff's Entrap is a puzzle/strategy game rendered in pseudo-3D perspective. The player's goal is to move the character across playing the field while being chased by robots. The only way to get rid of those is to create traps by digging holes in the ground. The player character can both dig holes (remove floor tiles) or fill them to create new pathways.

The robot types have different levels of intelligence: while the simplest ones stop chasing the player whenever there is any obstacle in their direct path, more complex ones will navigate around the holes created by the player with varying degrees of success and persistence. The goal of each level is to reach the topmost side of the playing field without getting caught. The game is turn-based, giving the player plenty of time to plan their strategy depending on the situation.

Moraff's Entrap was sold as shareware. The unregistered version only includes one episode with beginner difficulty levels.
