Game description
Nero 5 is a freeware chess programme, the fifth in a series of revisions by Finnish author Jari Huikari. Described as the strongest in the series, it features the option to save and load the player's position, undo latest move, change board colours and create custom positions to start the game with. A separate Blitz version is available which plays timed games.
Nero 5 was released as freeware, and later ported by the author to the WinBoard engine, with the source code in Pascal made available to the public.
