Description (by MrFlibble)

Notrus is a Tetris variant with nice visuals and diverse backgrounds. The basic rules are the same as in the original Tetris, and there are no new extra piece types that can be found in some other variants.

A new game mechanic introduced in Notrus is that clearing four lines simultaneously awards a 'NOT' -- a notch is marked near the lowest line on the playing field. If more 'NOT's are obtained by the player, they are added to the lines next from the bottom up.

The effect is that the player can clear the lines marked with a 'NOT' at any time by pressing Enter. If the playing field fills up, any available 'NOT's will be used automatically to open up more space for further tetromino pieces.
