Game description

Przygody Krzysia (which is Polish for The Adventures of Chris) is a platform game with some puzzle elements, which might generally remind you of Lode Runner (and maybe also a bit of Quadrax), but is a bit more simple. Krzys (or Chris) is a cartoonish guy who explores a haunted castle in search of treasure. Each room/location takes up the whole screen, and the player's task is invariably to collect all valuables to complete it.

Krzys can only run and climb ladders, and also jump a short distance after running off a platform's edge. Navigation around levels and most of the puzzles are built around these abilities. Some levels include enemies and hazards like spikes or lava, which need to be avoided, or Krzys will lose some or all of his energy. There is a total o 31 levels.

The game appears to have been released as freeware, but on the main screen it says both "Full version" and "Unregistered copy", suggesting that perhaps the author(s) intended to market it as shareware. However, the included FILE_ID.DIZ states that the game is freeware, and there is no registration info provided in the documents or game files. The game is not excessively hard, but can provide a nice distraction as a very decent freeware title.
