Game description
Rules of Engagement is a tactical starship command simulation that apparently takes inspiration from the Star Trek: The Next Generation TV series. The player takes on the role of a fleet commander during a galaxy-spanning conflict, given control of a flagship and a number of other vessels.
There are multiple scenarios of varying difficulty with different starting conditions and objectives. The game is highly customizable, with the player able to change everything, from the ship configuration and captain characteristics to the appearance and disposition of alien races that are encountered in the game.
The playable demo includes one scenario, and does not allow to save or load games. A self-running demo mode is also included.
