Game description
Scavenger is an arcade puzzle game similar to Lode Runner. You must collect all items in a level while avoiding enemies before you can proceed to the next stage. Completing this objective in a certain way (e.g. without trapping an enemy in a pit you dug) will yield extra score points.
The game comes with a level editor and a graphics editor.
Scavenger was originally sold as shareware but eventually author Dave Ashley made the registered version available as a free download, and released the source code. There is also a native Windows port of Scavenger (please see the links section below).
