Game description

Six-Pac 3D is a first-peson maze game that was clearly inspired by Pac-Man, but utilizes a pseudo-3D engine not unlike that from Wolfenstein 3D.

In each level, the player needs to collect all the small white spheres and other bonus items while trying to avoid the silly-looking roaming monsters, or at least not get the health drained to zero by their attacks. Apart from the monsters, there are also other hazards such as spikes that hurt the player when moving over them. Luckily, a green pill will restore some of the player's health back, and a star will restore the player to full health. There appears to be no equivalent of Pac-Man's magic pill that makes the enemies vulnerable, or at least it was not implemented in the latest version of the game.

Six-Pac 3D was released as freeware by its authors, but the game was not considered complete, the latest known version being 0.60. However, it is fully playable, and an extra level set is also available.
