Description (by MrFlibble)

The Big Red Adventure is a Lucas Arts style point-and-click adventure game drawn in an exaggerated cartoonish style, and set in the early 90s Russia sometime after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The main character, Doug, is an intelligent high-profile burglar who poses as a tourist to steal the precious crown of Ivan the Terrible (called Ivan the Horrible in the game) from the Kremlin Museum. Hilarity ensues as you explore the caricature version of Moscow and its surroundings, and eventually reunite with Dino and Donna, the other two protagonists of the previous Dynabyte Software game, Nippon Safes, Inc.

The game starts with Doug in his hotel room, pondering on how to bypass museum security to steal the crown. As usual for the genre, you must solve numerous puzzles by finding and combining items (some can be bought from vendors, but your purse is not bottomless!), and talking to other characters. For example, if you want to leave the hotel you need to give your room key to the porter. All is accomplished via a simple mouse interface.

The demo is slightly unstable and may crash if you left-click on the screen right after the start, so make sure you right-click to open the commands menu first.
