Game description

Blupi at Home is a colourful educational game for very small children (the developers suggest ages 3 to 8) that teaches alphabet and numbers.

The game can be described as an interactive sandbox with several minigames and other activities. The main screen features Blupi's home and acts as an interactive ABC, associating various household objects with letters, also being fully voiced. Each object has a special animation of Blupi interacting with it, often with a funny conclusion. A separate screen offers a mingame that requires the child to match different representations of numbers, including Arabic numerals and pips. Yet another screen teaches to distinguish between vowels and consonants. Other items open up more minigames.

Blupi at Home was originally sold commercially, supporting French, English an German languages in a single release. Developer Epsitec made the full game freeware in 2017. Also, in 1999 Epsitec released an enhanced remake of Blupi at Home that runs natively in Windows, with high-resolution pre-rendered graphics. This game is also available as freeware from the current official website.
