Game description
Dschump! is an arcade/puzzle game where you control a ball moving across platforms, somewhat akin to Rollin or Ballgame 2, but here the ball is not rolling, but instead it is constantly jumping along, with the player only being able to control its direction, and, to some extent, movement speed.
The resulting game feels a bit tedious as your ball slowly moves along the platforms. You can (but seemingly don't have to) collect diamonds lying along the way, and some tiles may contain special effects. Dropping the ball from the platform subtracts a life. The goal of each level is to reach the exit.
Dschump! was distributed as shareware. The unregistered version contains just 20 levels, with 100 more coming with the full game. There is a possibility to switch between English and German for the game interface. An earlier shareware version distributed by HomeBrew Software appears to have different levels.
