Game description
This is the original Fritz, the first in a series of highly successful and powerful home PC chess programmes.
It offers an easy to read, fully customizable graphical interface, game recording and analysis, optional hints and adjustable difficulty levels. The programme also comes with records of about 500 historical chess games to watch and analyse. The interface is available in several languages.
The DOS version of Fritz was developed by Dutch author Frans Morsch in collaboration with the German ChessBase team. Originally sold as a commercial product, this version 1.00 of Fritz has been made available for free with the kind permission from ChessBase.
