Game description
NOW is a shareware chess programme written by a single person that is considered to be rather strong (by its time's standards that is). It does not boast very pretty visuals, but it has a functional interface and plays efficiently. Back in the 90s, this game was also recommended for low-end PCs, since it runs comparatively faster than many of its contemporaries.
The known public version of the game is 0.1. It is fully-featured and has no limitations, but the author encouraged users to register and possibly purchase an improved version of NOW.
