Game description
MegaDschump is an enhanced re-release of Dschump! with much prettier graphics and remixed levels, but otherwise similar to the original game.
The player controls a light-blue ball, viewed from a top-down perspective, that continuously moves across an abstract world made of platforms floating above an endless body of water. The objective is to carefully navigate the ball to the level exit located somewhere at the top of the screen, while collecting as many gems as possible. The ball can be advanced forward by the player and made to temporarily hover in a single spot, but otherwise cannot be stopped. Falling into water sends the ball back to the start while subtracting one life.
MegaDschump was originally a commercial game, but author Peter Hinz generously made it freeware. There are 100 levels and a level editor that allows to create custom maps.
